Founded in 2015, Noir & Co emerged from a simple observation: the best brands aren't built through marketing alone—they're crafted through storytelling. We approach every project with an editorial mindset, treating each brand as a living narrative that deserves to be told with sophistication and depth.

Our studio combines the precision of magazine publishing with the strategic thinking of brand consultancy. We don't just create beautiful things—we build narrative systems that evolve with your audience, maintain their integrity over time, and command attention in an oversaturated world.

2015

Founded

Three designers and a shared belief that brands deserved better. Started in a Manchester warehouse with our first client, a local publisher.

2017

First Major Brand

Landed our first international client. The project defined our editorial approach and put us on the map in the design community.

2019

Expanded to 20 People

Grew the team with strategists, writers, and developers. Moved to our current studio space in the Northern Quarter, complete with a dedicated research library.

2022

International Clients

Began working with brands across Europe, North America, and Asia. Our narrative-first approach resonated globally.

2024

50+ Active Brands

Now maintaining ongoing relationships with over 50 brands worldwide. Launched our digital production practice to bring the same editorial rigor to web experiences.
