Tidal Fitness was born from a simple observation: traditional fitness felt harsh, rigid, and unforgiving. Our founder, Marina Chen, spent years studying movement patterns in nature, particularly the ocean's rhythmic flow and its profound impact on coastal life.
During a morning surf session in 2019, Marina experienced an epiphany. The way waves moved—powerful yet fluid, intense yet graceful—mirrored the ideal fitness philosophy she'd been searching for. That day, the concept of Tidal Fitness was born.

Riding the waves of growth and transformation
Marina Chen hosts the first beach yoga session with 12 participants. The overwhelming positive response confirms her vision for a new approach to fitness. By year's end, weekly attendance grows to 50 members.
Tidal Fitness opens its first dedicated studio space. Despite pandemic challenges, we adapt by offering virtual classes and outdoor sessions. Our community proves resilient, with membership growing to 150 dedicated members.
